Influences
Very much influenced by stuff that has an impact on me in some way or the other, doesn't really matter where, who or why. Productionwise, Rick Rubin/Richard Dodd, Daniel Lanois/Brian Eno & Mutt Lange are to me giants of whom I am unworthy to even speak of... When it comes to songwriting and musicians, I'm a sucker for country, just can't help it!
Started out wanting to be a rockstar (singer of course...), and when, to my big surprise, that didn't work out, I started playing guitar and keyboards in a couple of bands (and we were HUGE...). Pretty soon I found myself behind the board in most of our recording sessions, trying to get it to sound the way I heard it in my head. And then I pretty much just stayed there!! It turned into a studio of my own where I now spend my days producing all kinds of great artists and bands!
Rongedal, Jill Johnson, Sonja Aldén, Uno Svenningsson, Suzzie Tapper, Shirley Clamp, Rednex, Nanne, Jimmy Jansson, Torsson & Buford Pope are some of my clients, and I've had the privilege of getting to know some of the best (that's what I think, anyways!) musicians in the neighbourhood (to name a few: Pelle Jernryd, Mats Bengtsson, Mattias Pedersen, Tomas Ebrelius, Micke Nilsson, etc.) and actually get to work with them quite often... So I guess life is pretty GOOD!
