Influences
From a young age AMIR was attracted to music and its inspiring effects.
Music in its various styles, as long as it moves the heart or the body or both, from Led-Zeppelin & Pink-Floyed, through Kaveret (Israeli mega-band of the 70's) to Bach & Mozart, IT all influences.
After embarking on journeys around the world, music was revealed as a transformative tool, and an enhancer of Peace, Healing, Presence & conscious-awareness.
Studies of natural healing, meetings with incredible people & musicians from around the world amidst the many voyages, allowed the integration of music, devotion & meditation.
AMIR is also a co-founder & member of SHEVA
A world music ensemble of original music, established in 1996 in a unique community situated in the Galilee Mountains, northern Israel.
SHEVA band members are coming from Muslim and Jewish backgrounds and the main theme in their songs is the call for peace in the Middle East and around the world.
SHEVA incorporates instruments from around the world and motives from the roots of Hebrew and Arabic cultures as well as tribal cultures, combining Biblical texts, Sufi prayers and eclectic inspiration from all traditions as well as contemporary music.
Shortly after their inception, SHEVA became a phenomenon in the world music scene in Israel, attracting thousands with their spectacular performances, filled with spirit and celebration.
Their first two CD's 'Celestial Wedding' & 'Day & Night' rapidly became the best selling world music CD's in Israel.
Soon after the Israeli success SHEVA toured the U.S. performing from coast to coast. Following this successful tour, SHEVA were invited by the Dalai-Lama to the ‘Sacred World Music Festival’ in which they created a special collaboration entitled: ‘Poetry of Peace - spiritual music of the Middle East’ with Jai Uttal & Omar Faruk Tekbilek. Together they recorded a musical prayer for peace entitled S.O.S Salaam Om Shalom. They were hailed for their performances in Los Angeles, San Francisco & New York.
Returning from world tours, SHEVA have released their 3rd album ‘Garden’ containing this musical prayer recorded with Uttal and Tekbilek as a bonus track.
Since the summer of 2002, SHEVA has been performing around the world, including major festivals and prestigious events in Canada (Montreal Jazz festival), Australia (Woodford festival), Belgium (Sfinks festival), Spain (The Parliament Of Religions, Etno Sur Festival), France, Switzerland, and more, all to raving reviews from audiences, press and national TV alike.
SHEVA released their 4th album in June 2005: "SHEVA- Live In Australia", Recorded in 2004 during their intensive and successful second Australian tour. This Album won the Best Live Album in IMA (Independent Music Awards) 2006.
SHEVA is dedicated to inspiring and uplifting musical experience, reminding every listening heart to the true peaceful and joyful nature of being.

was born in Tel- Aviv, Israel.
Composer & poet, singer-songwriter & producer.
Sings, plays Guitars, Persian Santoor & Ney (middle eastern flute).
Co- founder of the Internationally acclaimed Hebrew-Arab world music ensemble SHEVA.
Travelled extensively & studied natural healing in Nepal, Thailand, The Americas, India and Israel.
Currently residing in Australia and employed full time by TP events

He facilitates touring productions, development of new events and is also composer & music producer,
Under the TP banner Amir participates in the creation of meetings between artists and
presenters, healers from around the world, these form part of the future projects he will manage including workshops, Music &

A member of ‘Metatron Theatre-Ritual Ensemble’ (‘Who Guards the Trees’ & ‘Messiah Tree’).
Produced MERKAVAH with Gabriel Meyer(a Soundtrack of the soul - a Kabbalistic musical ceremony that combines holy and ancient text with ancient and modern musical instruments), of which his track 'Run & Returned' was nominated as finalist for best World Music track in MusicOZ AWARDS 2006.
Co-producer of Mr. SLEEP & THE FLYING GREEN TOAD with Avishai Barnatan & Maneesh De Moor (World music Children's album), finalist in the Dolphin Awards for the best kid's album of 2006.
. Recently finalized the production of HATEVA-Nature-Skin Of God, The Torah of Deep Ecology, co-created with Gabriel Meyer, featuring compositions and performances by various artists like Jai Uttal, Gil Ron Shama & Avishai Barnatan from Sheva, Shimshai & many more- in English, Spanish, Hebrew, and twist of Arabic & Aramaic. Now produces ZEH- his first solo album in Hebrew, and LAWS OF THE JUNGLE (with Avishai Barnatan), a trance-form-ambient soundtrack based on that titled book by Yossi Ghinsberg (www.ghinsberg.com).
Other musical productions include AHAVA ((love) of Shavit Ravnitzky - Original Devotional Jewish music & BIRTHING (Musical journey of Poetry and Affirmations for pregnancy), collaborating with his wife Nirupa Hoffman-Paiss.
