"ALC rocks and rolls, and hits it. They are the culmination of post-pop punkabilly alt rock."
-Sean Lingo-
Amish Love Child, originated from Eugene, Oregon as a hard hitting alt country, power pop, sometimes punk rocking mixture of genres. Troy Krusenstjerna, lead singer/songwriter's songs are based around the theme of not wanting to work, not having enough money, living paycheck to paycheck, societal issues: america's current government, cell phone's , and in all honesty, the lyrics hit home. The self-titled first album includes bass playing from the very talented Tony Gilchriest, and sharp drumming from producer/drummer Jeff Davis.
Influences include but are not limited to:the Kinks, the Beatles, Talking Heads, the Ramones, with good old American country (not to be confused with new country), the result being sharply composed original songs.

I think you're weird, Troy! What's going on? How's Terwilliger? You know I still think of you once in a while... like 5 days a week when I'm getting ready for work and the song "I Don't Wanna Work" pops in my head and I just belt it out... yeah I think of you then.
Soooooooooo what's up with you not replying to my comment? Think you're better than me or something? Well I just wanted to see what was going on. Busy writing lots of hits??
