Edwin Wendler	Oct 3 2009 8:52 AM Thanks so much for sharing your "Sextet"! It's absolutely brilliant, and it shows a very interesting facet of your writing. You display some "fingerprints" of your compositional style while doing something fascinating which I had not heard to the same extent in your other work: the concept of repetition and how to keep those repetitions fresh and interesting. I don't think any of the repetitions are exactly the same. The accompaniment keeps shifting and the variations in the bass line are very, very satisfying and create a forward momentum. I love the rhythmic complexity (4/4 + 7/8), and the musicians play with vigor and a sense of fun. Great, great stuff!!!

I think it's impressing how you've mixed different type of instruments that one normally doesnt hear toghether in these constellations. And i loved drifting away to, it's really beautiful.
