The thing that gets me most pumped is talking about books and writing. My family could probably tell you that. I'm sure they are all happy I'm on MySpace so I can give them a break.
Seriously, I love reading a good book, I love the process of writing (although sometimes the rewriting can be draining,which is 99.9% of it), and I love bookstores.
My other interests include: special education, teaching others, eating, working out, cooking Indian and Pakistani food, travelling, drawing, quotes, summer, history, YA books, thrillers, and suspense novels. Did I mention good food?
| | Music | Well, I like all kinds of music. I like jazz, I like Pink, I like Blue October, and I like Opera.
Who knew?
| | Movies | I like suspense movies that keep me on the edge of my seat with their writig, not their gore.
I also like chick flicks, and epic period movies like "The Other Boleyn Girl", "Elizabeth."
Of course, Kid movies are up there, like "The Chipmunks" because I have to keep my family happy! | | Television | I don't watch much TV except Oprah when it's not a rerun. That is not a plug, it's just reality. She started out on tv when I was a just becoming a teen and when you are home alone, you can either stay home and watch tv (no cable, guys), or go out and get it trouble. I chose to stay home and watch her. Trust me, it was worth it.
More recently, I was totally into "Lost," but after a while it got frustrating becuase they keep repeating the same scenes in new episodes! I think I need to just get the DVDs.
