It is not to often can one claim to have gone from simple observer to
an full time activist at a young age. Within a generation where most
want to enter the music industry as an artist instead of as an
executive/ Descision maker, Amaury Feron aka Ammo made the more
difficult path and decided to follow his instincts and dedicate his life
to music and the youth at 15.
Interning for local DJs in France, he was responsible for the design,
structure and distribution of mixtapes, promoted parties and experienced
being an entrepreneur at an early age. As years passed he perfected his
craft, but realized he needed to be on his own or with a stronger team
to be recognized by the industry. At 17 he decided to drop his first
mixtape titled "Back To The Future". The mixtape consisted of mixing
together classic and exclusive songs with their original samples. The
concept made it a street favorite and helped Ammo to make a name for
himself. He now decided to strengthening his brand with a new focus on
the constantly expanding internet market. Over the next year Ammo found
himself spending countless hours spent on some infamous French websites
which allowed him develop another passion, the passion of publications
writer. Ammo now began writing articles and album reviews for the
notorious French website: www.lehiphop.com. After a few months of
writing and developing mixtapes, he hooked up with internationally known
photographer Armen who recognized Ammo's hunger and talent.
Armen immediatly took Ammo under his wing and helped further devlop
this budding star. Eventually he hooked him up with Rap US Magazine,
which is the largest French magazine dedicated to the hip hop culture.
Ammo joined the staff as a writer and found fullfilment writing articles
and interviewing producers and musical artist.
With his ears constantly on the streets, he met C.H.I a talented
producer from Luxemburg. This bought Ammo to yet another profession,
Artist Management. With the acceptance of C.H.I... It was decided that a
company be formed to better handle artist. With that mind set, Little
Italy Muzik was formed. Their first effort was the street classic
mixtape, "The Drama Setter" hosted by rappers Maino (Universal Records)
and Tru Life (Roc La Familia). This was another effort to have C.H.I.
Music available to the masses.
Ammo's creativity and people skills, allows him to make connections with
people all over the world, eventually connecting with Clothing
manufacturer and freelance writer Rikerz and writer Greg Figueroa
(Blackmens, Smooth & Juice Magazine). Together they decided to build up
what will be build the next biggest rap label of history, G.I.T Records
(Gettin It Together). Not much time passed before Young Scrap / Scrap
of Brooklyn, NY and Derrty Den of North Carolina were signed to Gettin
It Together Records. Ammo, now only 20, is embarking on historical
momentum that will lead him to monumental heights.
