Amnesia Wars Productions was founded as a longform improvisation company during the death rattle of the twentieth century. While never leaving their improv roots behind, the troupe soon began presenting scripted productions- first in the familiar comedy revue format, then establishing the company as a full-fledged creator and producer of independent theater. More recent forays into “radio drama” and independent film/video production have solidified Amnesia Wars’ position as a pan-media production company. Whether the production be on stage or online, improvised or scripted, Amnesia Wars is committed to producing fun, exciting, and poignant work intended to entertain, educate, and encourage us all to forget what we thought we knew.
The Amnesia Wars company has performed in festivals and tours throughout the United States, as well as in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Amnesia Wars’ Keanu Reeves Saves the Universe performed to wildly enthusiastic sold-out crowds through ’04 & ’05. Survivor: Vietnam! was published in Plays And Playwrights 2004, and the company’s dramatic adaptation of Frankenstein is appearing in this year’s anthology Playing With Canons: Explosive New Works from Great Literature by America’s Indie Playwrights.

John did a great job and stuck to his promise and spear headed 11 weeks of Improv Recreation, but we don't want to stop. So I've come in and decided to promise that I'll spear head the next four Tuesdays. That means the Improv Recreation will still be going on through April. Yea!!!.
