took a lazy day yesterday and didn't clean up. Funny thing about that-that the dishes STILL have to be washed. Damn procrastination.Mood: groggy 11 hours agoview more
Oh yeah...no job and do you want me to get all factual and bitter??? lol. Don't wanna be ferocious bitch about it, but will be if someone asks! A year busting my ass and >>...!!!
Oh your poor shitty car lol. Was wondering about it. Sounded like it was gonna fall apart when we met for ftp. Good Luck with that! Aaaaarrrrgggg is right! Dude I need brakes...eatin rotor but no job no money :(
Whats with the sickness? Hopefully al have recovered and life is peachy! How are you? Just got some new music and drove down to venice to scuba...life is great!
yeah its a kilt =) my inlaws re-newed their vows for thier 25 anniversary. It was celtic themed and all the guys wore kilts. It was so cute seeing him run around in it I had to put it on him one more time before we sent them back to the rental place.
Lady Alathia, I send one of my most loyal minions of the order of Red to personally thank you for the addition. Your palace here is fascinating and I have suffered much distraction already from the weighty tomes adorning the picture room...
I'm Alyson. I'm 23, and for the first time in my life, I'm happy. I have a best friend that happens to be my husband, a brand new son who is the light of my life, and a completely snugglable dachshund, who is the Samwise to my son's Frodo. (that's his name, too. The dog, not my son)
I've been accused of being shy, demonstrative, theatrical, and geeky. Short-statured and "too old for my age" are right on the mark as well.
The best job in the world is mine! I'm a stay-at-home mom. It's not an easy job, mind you - sometimes I wish I had some monotonous task to drone my way through instead of the constant insanity of an infant - but I wouldn't trade it for the world. My son's smile lights up my whole world, and I can't imagine missing a single toothless giggle.
I'm an excellent cook. People are happy when they are eating, and I love nothing more than to make people happy. Sometimes, I like to throw together elaborate banquets - china, cocktails before dinner, the works - in our home, just for the fun of it. I feel like a little girl playing "Tea Party".
It would be easier to list what I don't like (blanket rap/hip hop/"R&B" and modern Country under that category) though there are exceptions even in those genres.
I'm a chick metal head. *nodnodnod* But, I also like everything from folk music and soundtracks to show tunes and Gregorian chant.
Won't get many hits without a list of bands... so here goes a few.
Opeth
Fate's Warning
3
Danzig
The Misfits
Meatloaf (laugh away, you know you love him)
Elton John
Loreena McKennitt
Mediaeval Baebes
Alas
Katatonia
Kreator

Oh, did I mention I'm a Trekkie? (ha, like you couldn't guess!) LOVE all the Trek movies, and I'm waiting on eggshells for the new one (which I was PROMISED as a birthday present... then they moved the date back to summer. Grr.)
Love historical movies: Braveheart, Gladiator, Rob Roy, and fantasies/legends: Excalibur, Conan, Robin Hood-Prince of Thieves, Ivanhoe.
Love Labyrinth and Star Wars (Star Wars and Empire only, though - I'll take tribbles over Ewoks any day.), James Bond and old black and white horror films. Like some Anime - but I'm more particular about it now, than I was in high school.
Television
Books
Marion Zimmer Bradley's "The Mists of Avalon"
