“The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.”
There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. "Carl Jung"
Just passing by to leave you my love dear friend! Raven

Thank you as always for your beautiful comments and for remembering me even while I’m away. I’m very glad to have every one of you in my list as my friends. It’s always wonderful to have good friends in so many different and diverse places, even if we could never meet in person.
I wish, as you go through the trail of a new week, light will be always there to guide you, even when it’s dark, your path will be smooth and without obstacles, and danger will keep out of your way. Moreover, I wish it will be a journey to remember.
"I believe that to meet the challenges of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for oneself, one's own family or nation, but for the benefit of all humankind. Universal responsibility is the key to human survival. It is the best foundation for world peace."
H. H. the Dalai Lama
My friend, I hope your week goes good and full of happiness.
Some of you are asking why I don't go online as frequently as I used to and the answer is I've been very busy spreading our word for peace and humanity.
I decided some time ago that when we work only for ourselves and for our closest ones, although it is a noble effort, it is only what we're "supposed" to do.
Sometimes along the way, we might find ourselves caught in a routine where we lose the song and beauty that life is made of.
By becoming part of a broader effort for a better society, we know in our hearts that our lives have its intended meaning, that we're not just surviving anymore. In the wise words of Mother Theresa, "We can do no great things; only small things with great love". But these small things done with great love can definitely make a big difference for everyone.
"Three passions have governed my life: The longings for love, the search for knowledge, And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind].
Love brings ecstasy and relieves loneliness. In the union of love I have seen In a mystic miniature the prefiguring vision Of the heavens that saints and poets have imagined.
With equal passion I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of [people]. I have wished to know why the stars shine.
Love and knowledge led upwards to the heavens, But always pity brought me back to earth; Cries of pain reverberated in my heart Of children in famine, of victims tortured And of old people left helpless. I long to alleviate the evil, but I cannot, And I too suffer.
This has been my life; I found it worth living."
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.
I've been away in a trip for a few days, thank you for remembering me.
