We began back in Birmingham in 2003. The original line-up has shifted a few times. Some old members remain friends and fans, while others fell by the wayside.
We’ve gigged across the Midlands, South Wales and London.
Along the way we’ve had some serious highs: a slot supporting in June 2006; and an interview on BBC Radio later that year.
AMOA plays gigs wherever, whenever and to whoever wants to hear us. We play on streets, on your homes, the clubs pubs and stadiums.
We will be heard.
You have been warned
..The AMOA boyz ..
Keep an eye out for AMOA sessions. The band will be bar hopping in various locations around the UK, and you are cordially invited... to buy us drinks.

what? the folk! & Solid Earth present: Freaks, Ghouls and Graves, a Balkan (ish) flavoured Halloween (ish) knees up at the delightful St Margaret’s church in Whalley Range.
Yessum we’re back. after the monstrous success of Jackson’s Boat, we thought it only right and proper to offer you another helping of profoundly good music in a great venue. We’ve got a rosette for best zombie in show, beer and food from the nice folks at Jam Street and noise from Stumblefunk.
Another co-promo with the brains and muscle that brought Beats, Roots & Leaves back in May - this time tho we de-camp indoors to make the most of the Halloween theme inside a church, with face painters, ghost hunters, a bar provided by Jam Street and a fabulous line-up of musical tricker treats:

Panther is some mutant form of Charlie. Having recently supported The Gossip, Panther’s music is hard match of damaged soul, falsetto disco and broken synth fueled freakouts which is as addictive as it is challenging. This solo affair of Charlie Salas-Humara isn’t easily ignored for his unpredictable and energetic performances tainted with throbbing bass, minimalistic hooks and jittery dance routines. Panther’s influences run deep and take as much from Pop and R&B as Free Jazz and Punk. http://www. myspace. com/panthertouch
7Hertz
Fluid and engaging, 7 Hertz fluctuate and mutate live before your very ears. incorporating all or none of the following instruments - basson, violin, voice, double bass, french horn, glockenspiel, clarinet, mandolin, trumpet - they improvise glorious pieces with total, beautiful spontaneity. http://www. myspace. com/the7hertzband

Hilarious two piece free-noise instigators from NYC. Kevin and Matt. Together they make Mavin or Kett. Relentless mezmorizing drums and synths that anticipate each other. A free roaming cacophony of dense aural matter from which a storm brews and rhythms pour down, but in the end the sun shines through. http://www. myspace. com/talibam
Very creative and smashing lads who make nice challenging music. View their myspace to see why they are 'smashing'. http://www. myspace. com/stignoise
