It's the love for ROCK LOVE (to say that with Steve Miller) that pushes these 4 romans to join together under the monicker A MODERN SAFARI. The american cosmic music of Gram Parsons and the sound of american prairies of Neil Young, Moby Grape and Buffalo Springfield in one ear and the english melodies of the Stones, Beatles and the late sixties psychedelic scene in the other enforced by their passion for the black grooves of soul, jazz and blues music. A sound that's REAL and delivers the lesson learned on vinyl furrows. Far from the experimental, postrock sounds who dragged their first, self-titled album (Loveboat rcs. 2002) at the 13th position in the italian indie chart to critical and public acclaim. The band is: Daniele Marini who did all the vocals and played guitar on "Simple Song"; Marco Ciccone who played guitars and recorded and mixed everyhing with his mobile studio; Simone Marini played bass and Cristiano Suriano drums. This promo was recorded in a small room at the historical Trafalgar Studios in Rome. All songs and lyrics by Daniele Marini, arranged and produced by A MODERN SAFARI.
