About me:
Amos Aharoni, a successful Israeli entrepreneur and a pioneer in the development of e-commerce and payment solutions for business-to-business transactions. Since the 1970’s, Amos Aharoni has been at the forefront of initiating financial solutions to businesses worldwide collecting a wide array of expertise in the management of international companies and experience in international investments.
In 1986, Aharoni founded Actrade Financial Technologies Ltd.
Under Aharoni’s leadership Actrade became into a multimillion business and an internet superstar during the dot.com excitement.
Having established the company in financial and structural terms, Aharoni decided at the end of 2000 to resign as CEO and return to Israel.
In 2002, as a result of disagreements between shareholders all business activities of Actrade were closed. Over this period, complaints were filed against Actrade and Amos Aharoni. All action filed against Amos Aharoni Was Dismissed
by the Delaware Court at the beginning of 2004.
Over the last couple of years, Aharoni’s business interests focus on private investments in international projects and the involvement of social and community activities.
עמוס אהרוני , בוגר בכלכלה מהאוניברסיטה העברית ומוסמך במדע המדינה מאוניברסיטת תל אביב, הינו בעל ניסיון מצטבר של עשרות שנים בניהול חברות גלובאליות והשקעות בינלאומיות.
בתחום העסקי החל עמוס אהרוני את דרכו כבר בשנות השבעים,
כאשר ייסד בירושלים מערך של פעילות כלכלית ופיננסית.
בשנת 1987 הקים עמוס אהרוני בניו יורק את חברת אקטרייד אשר התמחתה במימון עסקאות סחר בינלאומי.
בהנהגתו כמנכ"ל וכיו"ר במשך כ-13 שנה, התפתחה החברה בקצב מרשים, עברה תפנית טכנולוגית ועסקית, והפכה לחברה ציבורית אשר נסחרה בבורסת נסד"ק בשווי שוק של כ-400 מליון דולר.
בסוף שנת 2000, אשר נחשבת לשנת שיא בביצועי אקטרייד, מחליט עמוס אהרוני
לשוב עם משפחתו לישראל ופורש מתפקידי ניהול פעילים בחברה.
בתקופה זו הועלו האשמות באי-סדרים כנגד אקטרייד. כל התביעות כנגד עמוס אהרוני בוטלו בשנת 2004.
בשנים האחרונות, מאז שחזר לישראל, עמוס אהרוני מתעניין במעורבות אזרחית ומחפש אפשרות לפתוח דלתות למיזמים חברתיים בעלי קונוטציה עסקית..
