Amos will be presenting The Winter Will Not Last Forever as part of the Kettel/Secede show co-promoted by Binary Jam, Hive and Inari. The Show is at Static Gallery, Roscoe Lane (round the back of the Metropolitan), from 7pm, on Valentine's Day. Tickets are £5 and £3.
The Winter Will Not Last Forever is an AV performance combining Amos' music with films by Sam Meech, Neringa Plange and Richard Hughes/Bossfilm. It explores the concept of hope as neomodernist practice in the valley of the real.
It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we did.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.
