Alternative instrumental rock of the highest calibre
We are a 3-piece making music, mostly instrumental, with vocals sometimes creating the 4th dimension. Formed way back in 2006, emerging from the shadow of Belgium, Strikes, and now in the spotlight- Ampersand. Our aim is to not have an aim. We stand by that aim.
Our music ranges from atmospheric down-tempo, to spirited & lively. Playing in Sydney's live venues including the Hopetoun & the Sando.
Jason is currently living in Japan. Matt Bell is living in North Carolina. Matt Luciano still lives in Greater Sydney.

now that i've buttered you up (although not dishonestly), i am going to move straight to the alterior motive:
we're coming to sydney in july, playing some bar i can't remember the name of on the 22nd and looking for other gigs anywhere from maybe a day or two before to five days after that date. if you need a band around that time, we'd love to play with you guys.
i realise this is abrupt and presupposes you wanting to play with us, but i figured i'd get the suggestion out there up front because why fuck around?
we've got a gig coming up on good friday at paddy maguires in haymarket. it will be our first ever show with the new live band line-up. we'd really appreciate all the support we can get so if you're looking for something to do, come on down.
