Ampkilla, a truth music rap artist, was born in the United States in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. His family migrated to America from Trinidad and St. Vincent--islands in the Caribbean. He grew up in Trenton, the capital city of New Jersey. Castleberry, a well-known artist from Missouri has said about him, "I'm definitely feeling the music ... got some sick word play."
Ampkilla is currently working on releasing his next song. He is also working on a video for his latest track, "Wicked Ones Will Fail" and collaborating with other artists. He plans to perform his songs live in the near future. Meanwhile, he is constantly being presented new opportunities that will accelerate his music career.
Ampkilla began making beats and writing rhymes in the early 1990's around the age of 12 years old. He made a name for himself in his local neighborhood making beats and producing songs. After taking a break for several years, Ampkilla is back--and this time, he'll be delivering truth in the form of song for the people of the world. He will be using his music to empower the movement of people around the world who are taking action to bring about justice and liberty.
Ampkilla is not looking for a big budget, mainstream record deal. In fact, such an arrangement would be contrary to the grassroots approach he wishes to take in building his career. It has been demonstrated and proven that grassroots, organic activities are much more effective in spreading a message and garnering support than big budget operations. Ampkilla will be taking the music business by storm, from the bottom up....
