Ample Example was founded in September of 2007 when keyboardist Sam Saussy, bassist David Sentendrey and drummer John Wayne Harris discovered an undeniable musical connection. Each member was interested in playing any style of music whenever and wherever hoping others would come to share in their experience. Daniel Ponce would soon be the addition that finalized the last piece to Ample Example.
The band thrives on writing fresh, original material that ranges from instrumental jazz/funk to epic rock and mind-spiraling trance while also respecting a large selection of cover tunes as well, all-in-all providing fans with an unbeatable experience found no where else in the high country . The group has spent the past year and a half getting its groove on with local fans and random audiences at a number of venues and parties in and around Boone, NC. Daniel Ponce uses: Gibson Guitars, John Harris uses: Pearl and Yamaha Drums, Tama Hardware, Ziljdian and Stagg Cymbals, M-Audio and Yamaha Samplers. David Sentendrey uses: Warwick and Fender Basses, Gallien-Krueger amps. Sam Saussy uses: Roland and M-Audio Keyboards.
Ample Example uses: Behringer, Peavey, Nady and Carvin Pro-audio equipment, American DJ and Elation Lights, as well as Shure, Nady and Behringer microphones.
