Evangel University's KECC 98.1 "The Buzz," is once again hosting Amplified Battle of the Bands. If you are a band looking for some extra cash or studio time, this is the contest for you. This contest includes a grand prize of $500 and 10 hours of studio time in our newly built recording studio. A $10 entry fee and a complete application must be submitted by March 21, 2008 along with the lyrics of songs being performed. Amplified 2008 will be held on Friday April 4, 2008 in the lawn next to the clock tower which is located in the center of Evangel's campus. Before the main event come early for FREE FOOD from local vendors like Papa Johns, Chick-fil-a, Jimmy Johns, McCalister's and more to come! Challenge your friends to the greatest boxing game ever played. Or sumo wrestle your friends in some giant suits! During the event, KECC will be giving away over $200 worth of prizes.
