AMPLIFIER has been covering independent music since October of 1996, initially as a print magazine and, since early 2007, in a web-exclusive format.
We try to cover as much music as time and resources allow, the bulk of it being characterized as Indie Rock and the rest being made up of highly inventive hybrids thereof. Our main focus is on CD Reviews, AMP3 Radio (individual song and entire album streams), and Amplified Artist (a weekly artist spotlight) featuring what we consider to be talented, innovative and interesting artists.
