About Amplifier Project

The Amplifier Project run weekly workshops and events across the whole of Suffolk. Workshops are open to anyone aged between 11 and 25 and whether you're a complete beginner, in a band or just want improve your skills, there's something for you at one of the sessions. The listings for all of the workshops are on the main website AMPLIFIER SUFFOLK WEBSITE, where you can also find a map and contact details for your nearest workshop.

Workshops are two hours long, at a cost of £4.00 or £1.00 concession. They run on Monday's in Halesworth, Woodbridge (5 & 7pm start's) & Eye (6.30pm), Tuesday's in Needham Market and Sudbury(6.30pm start's), Wednesday's in Bury, Ipswich & Stowmarket (6.30pm start), Thursday in Halesworth and Saturday morning's in Brandon (11am start). Suffolk Soundwaves	Nov 26 2007 7:10 AM We Start Fires - the Klaxons support band are coming to Suffolk! And are playing at the Soundwaves Album launch on Saturday 1st December, supported by 10 young Suffolk bands. Last chance for tickets now, which you can get through the Seckford Box office on 01394 615 015. The address is Seckford Theatre, Burkitt Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP12 4JH. Show starts 7pm, and finishes at 11pm. Come and support THE coastal music project, we'd love to see you there!

I am telling you this because it is the honest truth, look I should know, they say that it is all in the way you use it, not how big it is, well I got news for you all, that is pure lies. I know from personal experience, I will tell you about a secret that alejoa has made me promise to never ever tell anyone, but since he has not called me in three weeks after standing me up, I am going to break the promise and tell you how he went from having a tiny wang and in 4 months he is now about nine inches and get this, it is still getting bigger. He has been secretly taking grow pills from this site, copy and paste the address into your browser to see them. Overrider know what they like and what they like is big fat grooves”- Gallipoli Records Hailing from Sudbury, Suffolk, this young outfit have been making a huge noise in East Anglia of late with their attitude-laden grooves. Overrider, as it stands today, was formed in the summer of 2005 when guitarist and vocalist Jack Newnham, bassist Gav Senior, drummer Tom Delaney and guitarist Ted Driscoll started jamming together at various ‘Amplifier Project’ sessions. Finding that they shared numerous musical influences, ranging from legends like Hendrix and the mighty Sabbath, to cult scene-leaders Clutch, Down and Sixty Watt Shaman, Overrider were quick to take on their stoner rock influenced sound and the four 17 year olds haven’t looked back since. Having entered the studio for the first time in November 2005, the band have received nothing but positive feedback for their resulting 3-track demo, from small, independent record labels to dedicated, internet fanzines. What does the future hold? Overrider will be entering the studio for a second time in early 2007, to record tracks for what is to become their new CD ‘Welcome to the whorehouse of electric love’ which will be available at all shows and through their website www.overrider.net. They have finished shooting their video for the undeniably riffy ‘Back To Where I Began’ which will be available to watch on their Myspace page www.myspace.com/overrider very soon, and, if you’re lucky, Overrider will be playing a show near you!
