Haha, yeah guys from Calamity are my best breaking friends, I love hanging with Dat Kennedy Binly Jacob and Joey. That night was funny as hell cuz I got that food from my lil sis from the boards at her mom's Pinay party. She wouldn't let me leave without taking a plate of food so I took that plate to Dat who promptly gave it to his wife... and who should kick it out of her lap... Kennedy!
The guy my lil sis has a pseudo-crush on hahaha. Funny thing is Dat was judging... the guy who stands up and like stares at it immediately was Dat, I thought he was just gonna kick Kennedy in the face, hahaha.
You shoulda been there at Dinner. Dat's wife gets her food and Dat looks over at Kennedy points at him and yells "SEE THAT? DON'T KICK IT!"
Things have been getting easier and easier lately. We had 10round battles Friday @ Heritage and I think I was one of like 4 people that battled and didn't practically pass out at the end lol. I think that 1year mark is really the hardest part.
I see what you mean, I don't care if internewbies bite me anymore. I won't care about what I put on the internet until I'm actually competing at jams regularly. Until then I've got nothing to hide really (or worth hiding for that matter).
But yeah, I'm positive I didn't get in either, which is good, that's exactly why I didn't wait til the last minute to post. I don't really like the commitment aspect of it, plus I didn't want to wait til I was as good as I could be and then get in on the best set I could do at that time, I figured since I'm not good at holding back by posting old footage and then improving its the same thing as holding back for a showcase!
Yeah I probably changed to the Asheru theme song around the same time you did oddly enough. But you know what they say, great minds think alike! BOOYA!
and yeah my breaking in general has been going through constant metamorphosis lately, every 2 months I look at the oldest and newest footage from those time frames and it feels like two different people.
I think I'ma keep growing that way until I can find the basis of a style that truly suits me.
