In 2005, The Amsterdam Jazz Orchestra was founded.
In 2006, the band started a successful series of gigs in The Sugarfactory, Meander, the Bimhuis and Club 8, all renowned Amsterdam venues. Guestsoloists featured are inspiring and talented Dutch jazz giants such as Martijn Vink, Ilja Reijngoud, Tom Beek, Ruud Breuls, Sjoerd Dijkhuizen, Jasper Blom, Maarten van der Grinten, Fay Claassen and Eric Vloeimans.
