aMute was created in 2002 by Jérôme Deuson as a solo experimental act of melodic noise and beautiful layers of guitars.
It evolved quickly in some heavier sounds with the help of Stephane Fedele behind the drums.
After 2 albums released on the Canadian label Intr.Version Records, tours in Europe, US, Canada, UK... Jérôme refilled his batteries and decided to create a real band, even on the album. Thomas Venegoni and Sam Volan joined the band in 2007 and recorded an album with the two other guys.
Infernal Heights For A Drama was released on Stilll Label in april 2009.
Stephane Fedele quitted the band in June 2008 and was replaced by JP De Gheest. Samuel Volan is no longer the bass player of aMute. The band is now a trio and is focusing on a more experimental approach for the forthcoming album.
Salut aMute, votre performance à Dour était géniale! Où pourrai-je me procurer votre CD, notamment celui où la chanson "May Faint" apparaît? Merci encore et à bientôt j'espère!
