Dancing, drawing, and singing are a few of my favorites....but I don't claim to be good at them :) I also love to go to museums, art galleries, and aquariums. I work for a local non-profit so I attend a lot of events, dinner parties, silent auctions, ect. Occasionally I have been known to buy some liquor, junk food, and a video game and set up camp in the living room for the weekend.:)I'm sporatic and spur of the moment I can go three states away just to get out of town for a while :) I tend to be impulsive and I love it!!!! My son has curbed my adventourious spirit a bit but soon he will be old enought to enjoy trips as much as I do!!!
Music
I love all music. Yes I know a very cliche answer. but it is true. Until 8 grade my favorite music was Bach, Debussy, and Beethoven, with a few oldies thrown in. After that I listened to rap for a few years.....Then it was heavy metal and alternative...then my room mate spun records so it was Techno all the way.....Then I hit the clubs so it was club music....Now I listen to everything. But, Lately it's been local bands. there's music I enjoy from every genre....Not so much country but it has it's place

Movies
I am a Turner Movie Classic Fanatic!!!! I love old movies. All of the old stars. Hepburn is one of my favorites. I also love Taylor. Astaire, Rogers, Turner, Gable, Leigh. I could go on forever...there’s just something so romantic about the old movies. There’s only two types of movies that I like new...Horror and Action. They are always more visually appealing, and since the visual is normally such a big part of these movies it's only natural that these would be a little better(But not always!!!!)
Television
I love to catch the specials on the Discovery, National Geographic, Animal, History, and Learning Channels. My favorites are archeology, paleontology, oceanography, and anything about space. I like to watch the nightly news and I normally watch nightline if something interesting is on. Oh I almost forgot..... ADULT SWIM RULES!!!!!! Star trek is kewl too(Next Gen... not deep space....they suck)
Books
I've been reading a few different books over the past few weeks.. The Kings Honor, The Hypochondriacs Guide to Horrable Diseases, Lots of short stories and poems, The Practical guide to Night Gazing, and Madam Borvey....I think that is it for the past three weeks....oh I keep refering back to 1001 nights..i really like that book.... Oh I've been reading lot's of poetry online. You should check out these blogs :)

I'm a single mother of a two-year-old, full time college student, and full-time teacher. I'm 24. I live with my mother and stepfather probaly until I graduate from J-State and UM. It's going to take me about two years to finally get out of school but I'll have my education degree. I'm very active socialy....well o.k sorta...every other weekend I go out. But I'm very busy on those weekend :) I'm kinda of a dork.. It has taken me years to come to terms with that fact. I tried to be wild, sexy, ditsy, religious, cool.....and every time people would eventually find out that I was never really what I projected. I must say that I meet a lot of different people while "playing dress up". But frankly I'm sick and tired of pretending to be what I think people want me to be. There are exceptions, I still want my boss to think I'm perfect(Because I am!!!), And my coworkers to think I've always been boring ;). But besides those few exemptions I want to be myself.

Who I'd like to meet: I'd love to meet some friends.....I really want to meet someone to talk to. I like open-minded people. All ethnic backgrounds and ages are welcome. I like smart people...you don't have to be a genius you just have to think for yourself. I like to talk to people who are up on current issues. I have a great love for all branches of science...if I don't know about something I am certainly willing to listen and learn. Oh and someone who is nonjudgmental. I have had an...Interesting past. Oh and if you decide to talk to me PLEASE don't make fun of my spelling. It's entirely too easy to do. I never got a gold star for spelling in grade school :( It's a badge of disgrace I will carry for the rest of my life. Oh and I can't do that cool shorthand techie thingy...so I have to type everything out so please forgive if I ask for clarification. If you know how to do the techie text talk... and you have extra time and you would like to help out a technically challenged person then I would appreciate it :D
