Compared with artists as varied as PJ Harvey, Karen Carpenter, Bjork, and Dido, Amys songs have a classical feel, with lyrics to make your hairs stand on end, all wrapped up in her soft sultry vocal. Singing from the start and songwriting from 13, Amy has spent the last six years building a catalogue of hits, working with a group of writers and producers including Elcho, Zinc, Zed Bias, Sam Frank, and Felix Howard. Combining her love for both live & electronic styles, Amy is one artist that truly crosses over. Her songs have been pitched to the likes of Janet Jackson, Jamelia, and Sugababes, and her most recent collaborations have been with Dizzee Rascal and Stamina MC. 2004 saw the release of DJ Zincs album Faster on which Amy has two tracks, one of which was hailed by Music Week as the standout. 2008 has seen Amy join forces with producer/songwriter Worgie to form chooki ting. Worgie's IDM/Dubstep/Guitar based beats provide a perfect backing for Amy’s pop melodies. Currently being championed by Radio Ones Mary Ann Hobbs, and wowing the London circuit with their new Live Electronic Act, chooki ting are the ones to watch in 2008.
