Silence of the Lambs is a favorite. I like drama, comedy (slapstick gets me everytime), and psychothrillers. Not into action films unless there is a plot and character development.
Television
Grey's Anatomy, House MD, and that's all I make time for. Thank GOD for DVR!!!
Books
East of Eden, What to Say When You Talk to Yourself, Just read Perfume, which was interesting...anything that I can learn from. I read mostly journals nowadays.

Current Courses:
I recently finished my second year (of 4)of Pharmacy school. I had all kinds of lofty goals for the summer, including twice-a-days, Buffalo Springs Lake Half IM, etc., etc....but May 20th, 5 days after finals were over, I crashed on my bike and fractured my pelvis. I am slowly recuperating, but I know that my plans will have to change. So, I am looking at way more cycling than before... and would like to camp, rock climb when I am able, and just travel and play.
Triathlon and endurance sports in general have become a way of life for me, a way to better myself, to change my body and my mind...test my resolve and push my limits. It has become a way to bond with like-minded people and to see parts of the state I otherwise would never see.
My life has changed drastically in the past year, and I am learning to be myself again, to be open and honest....to trust my instincts and be true to myself. Despite the bumps in the road, I am loving life right now. It's fresh, with a bright horizon and much positive change.
Hey Amy! Just wanted to say Happy Belated Birthday...I didn't forget your birthday, promise! We will have to celebrate when you have free time, whenever that is. Hope it was fabulous!
I find that it's a cute little crush! I don't even know his name that's what's so funny :) I truly believe that everyone has their soul mate and my horoscopes have been gearing toward this one particular individual and it's just so hard to explain hence my headline today, but I feel a total connection. Maybe it's just another phase in my life, I dunno! lol. so thank you for the advice :) and running into old man not fun whatsoever... I feel ur stress!
I know! Well I'm glad to hear it's not just a California thing...I was starting to think what if I stayed in NM? It's because we're just to darn smart, my Golden Key friend! Congrats on all your successes by the way. I'm studying for the GRE to go to grad school...finally.
Yup, we're going to New York on Saturday and visiting some friends that live on a beautiful farm, then going to spend a couple of days in Niagara Falls and see a Barenaked Ladies concert. I am so excited!
Oh yeah-I forgot to tell you, we'll be back from Hawaii next Sunday 9/14. The following two weeks are kinda full, though, 'cuz we have two weddings to go to [my hubby is the best man in one of 'em] and so I guess he's got to plan the bachelor party and we have to go to rehearsal dinners and what-not. But I DO want to have dinner/wine w/ you guys some time... send me your phone number, kay? We'll work something out! ...I'll call you when we get back.
We should definitely have them make us dinner sometime... :) I'm down w/ that! It might have to be after we get back from vacation, though. [Where was he a chef at?] My stomach is growling already.....
Greetings from LA, and believe it or not, I miss ABQ!!! Mostly I miss my chicas! Can't wait to catch up soon (and as time is flying, it will be sooner than we wish!)
