The most recent I read (well, actually listened to in my car during the commute to and from work) was Freakonomics. I thought it was absolutely great and would highly recommend it to all. Some of my past faves have been Written on the Body by Jeanette Winterson, El Alquimista by Paulo Coelho, The Dalai Lama: A Policy of Kindness, Noticia de un Secuestro and Cien A?os de Soledad by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
About me: I am so blessed. I'm 24 years old and married the love of my life on February 25, 2006 at a sunset ceremony in Miami Beach, FL. I feel infinitely fortunate for having had the opportunity to marry my high school sweetheart, and I love him more with each passing day. And on August 20th of this year, our lives became even more joyful as we welcomed our little girl into the world - Samantha Alexandra. She weighed 5lbs 6ozs and was 17.5 inches long.
I am loving every second of motherhood. Nothing can compare to the joy that I feel each time I hold my baby girl in my arms. She's so beautiful and so percfect. I love her SOOOOO much!

Yes, I opened last Friday! I am working Thurs, Fri. , Sat. So I still can stay at home with Lilly 4 days a week! I love it! Sam is getting so big & pretty!!!
Hey lil mama!! How are the Corderos' doing?? Haven't talked to you in FOREVER! Just wanted to check on y'all. Sammy is BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait until we get to see y'all again. Her and Ryleigh should be able to "talk" to each other!!=) I'm loving life so much, never thought it could be so great! Babies are truly amazing, and definitely life changing!! Good to hear from you! We are great! Lilly didn't start sleeping throught the night until she was 1 yr old. And that was after the crying it out method. I think I started her on rice cereal at 5 mths. b/c she was so interested in what we were eating. It actually made her wake more I felt like. I think it hurt her tummy so we waited awhile longer & tried again. Sam is doing well of she is only waking 1 or 2 times. I was still getting up 3 or 4 times at that age. Your right you do get used to it!!! LOL! We still have a bad night once in awhile. Like if she is sick or teething. We were up at 3 last night & she didn't go back to sleep till' 5:30. It is hard waking up once you are used to sleeping!!! She is beautiful! Glad to hear she is thriving! Lilly will be 15mths on the 27th. I can't believe it! She is climbing on things & talking so well. Good luck with the breastfeeding. It should be easy from hear on out. I finally weaned Lilly at 13 & 1/2 mths. The doc. said I should do it by 15mth. Glad to have it over with but I miss it. It was hard b/c she didn't want to quit. TTYL! Have a great week!
Hey girl, thanks! Motherhood is treating me well, just very tiring! It's definitely life changing. But I know it's going to get easier with each passing day. She's so amazing....I love just watching her....you never know what kind of face you are going to get!! How's everything going with y'all? I can't wait for December either. It's right around the corner! I should have more pics up soon....these are ones I stole from others and sent off of my phone. My days are filled with her now!
