Saxophonist Amy Lee recently finished a 15 year tour with artist Jimmy Buffett, playing to an average sold-out crowd of 20,000 per night. Amy was the horn section leader and horn arranger on albums as well as tours, and also a featured soloist. She has numerous major album credits and several songs on major record labels. Amy Lee’s two solo albums, INSIDE THE OUTSIDE and her latest, USE ME, have received many favorable revues. In fact Bill Withers himself told Amy that her version of his song "Use Me" was the first tune he downloaded to his MP3 player.
Amy Lee is a seasoned performer having gained valuable experience from her 15 years touring with a major artist and performing on many live network TV programs such as the Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman and the Today Show. She compliments any act she is performing with by her talent, magnetism and physique.
Amy Lee played with Jimmy Buffett, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Charles Neville, the Temptations, Ben E. King, Glenn Fry and Ringo Starr. She also played alongside President Bill Clinton for his first Inaugural Ball as well as for his 50th birthday party. Amy has recorded for Richard Smallwood, Luther Barnes, Ya’ll So Stupid, Jimmy Buffett and also for many indie artists as well as radio and TV commercials and is available for studio work, horn section arranging and/or touring.
