"Amy Seeley is one of those rare songwriters who captivate the listener from the very first note. Her style is delicate and unassuming with songs that balance easily in the worlds of folk and jazz. While the obvious influences of Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, and Sarah McLachlan are present it does not overwhelm her own individual style. It's all here with poignant lyrics and sympathetic arrangements that simply shine. "
Tom Coxworth, host of Folk Routes
CKUA Radio
"With a single note of her haunting voice, she is capable of putting a smile on your face, coaxing tears from your eyes and urging you to make snow angels.... You might also feel a teensy bit miffed -- where has Seeley been all our lives? "
Sandra Sperounes, Edmonton Journal
"Her lilting, piano-driven music stumbles amongst the ruins of relationships and possibilities. "

"Forget the obvious comparisons, forget the genre, forget the familiar female singer-songwriter hype, forget that you think you..ve heard it all before. I did, when I heard Amy perform for the first time - only days ago. The strength and subtlety of her piano arrangements drew me into the quite beautiful aural world she has dreamed up, enabling me to appreciate and warm to the crystal clear tone of her lovely voice. This young artist has a truly wonderful gift for composition and songwriting.”
Whenever I feel I've forgotten who I am, your music has a way of reminding me not only of who I am, but why we're all here. You really are that good! Also I watched your interview and love most that you are so present in the playing of your own music. We get to see some of our own imagery b/c we are listening to these songs. Never stop. Your music ushers in life EVERY time. Thanks Amy.
last night I had to hang around portland waiting the arrival of luggage misplaced on the wrong plane, pretty irritated and tired... but i walked into the Camellia and what did my ears hear but the lovely Amy Seeley, such a wonderful sound I could not help but feel good again.
Hey! Thanks for coming out and supporting. We really appreciate it. The poster was made by Kelsey Reagan, my brother's wife's sister. (Don't know you guys have met yet. )
