ABOUT AMY: Harp, accordion, penny whistle, piano, vocals. Solo and collaboration: with Amir Haghighi (Persian traditional vocalist), Jou Tou (world music ensemble with Qiu Xia He, Andre Thibault, Joseph 'Pepe' Danza), Tzimmes (progressive klezmer band led by Moshe Denburg). Composer, arranger, producer, performer. Been on tour through Europe, North America, even went to Japan once to impersonate a french accordion player... with band Mad Pudding played celtic funk for years, played at Glasgow Folk Festival, Shetland Festival, Orkney Festival (Scotland - I love Scotland), Skagen Festival (Denmark - I seem to remember it never got dark), Celtic Colours (Nova Scotia - what a beautiful place) among my faves. I was featured as a composer in documentary "Music for a New World", just before I had my son Youssof. I am immortalized on film as being 9 months pregnant. So much for vanity. And I can't help it, I still like dangly earrings...

Thank you for accepting my friend request; I would also like to introduce you to one of my friends, BCRenfest, who are in my top friends. BCRenfest had its 2nd annual Rennaisance festival, held in Fort Langley at Aldor Acres farms this summer and it was a great turn out; it would be such a pleasure to have a harp player at next years's event to add that extra Rennaisance touch.
