Cars and Music rank at the top. I'm a little bit of a car fanatic. I enjoy racing, car shows, and just tinkering with them. I was even pulled out of class a few times to go take a look at teachers' vehicles! I'm really into classic American muscle - ricers and tuners just aren't my thing. I'm even lucky enough to own a few of the best ever made - A '69 Plymouth Road Runner that I am currently restoring, a '69 Dodge Charger, which is next in line, and a '69 Dodge Super Bee. It's Mopar all the way for me... One of the only things that can match my love for cars is my love for music. I'm in band, I play several instruments, and I sing. My life has a continuous soundtrack, especially in my head. If I can be, I'm listening to something all the time... I have lots of other interests too - I'm a pretty diverse person - but those two are at the top...
Music
I listen to everything, literally. My collection includes everything from Alternative to Polka Waltzes and everything in between. My favorites are Country and Rock though, and that is what I spend most of my time listening to. But catch me on the right day and I'll be listening to Hip-Hop and Rap, and later that night I'll relax with some Chill, and then fall asleep to some Soft Rock... Like I said, I listen to everything! It just depends on how I feel, who I'm with, and what I'm doing.
Movies
Top Gun, the Wedding Crashers, A Night at the Roxbury, Young Guns I & II, Bruce Almighty, S.W.A.T., the Rocky series, Gladiator, Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, The Dukes of Hazard, Smokey & the Bandit, Van Wilder, the American Pie series, The Man with No Name series, the James Bond series, Air Force One, Cruel Intentions, the Wild Things series, What Women Want, the Magnificent Seven, Lonesome Dove, any John Wayne or Clint Eastwood movie, etc... Just about any action flick or comedy; and even some of the chick-flicks I've been drug along to have been pretty good.
Television
I like lots of different shows: Modern Marvels, CSI, Mythbusters, Pinks, Monday Night Football, 24, American Idol, all of the Best of- or 50 Top- shows on VH1, MTV, or E!, the "I Love the-" series, the Dukes of Hazard, Drawn Together, Family Guy, Futurama, South Park, and lots of others that aren't coming to mind right now...

Let's start off with the basics. My name is Jerry Simcik. I was born on March 9th, 1987 in Longivew, Texas and was raised in the little town of Big Sandy. I'm 5'11", 170 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. As you may tell from my name, I am 50% Czech - the other 50%? Well, I just say I'm "half Czech, half Mutt," although, by definition, that makes me 100% Mutt... It's just a technicality...
I'm a pretty simple guy who's not really that simple at all... Let me explain that. There is alot more to me than may meet the eye. To really know me takes time - I even surpirse my best friends sometimes. I enjoy lots of "normal" things, but at the same time I enjoy alot of stuff that most people have never even considered... I may seem reserved or quiet at times, but that is not the case: I'm very open and I have a rather loud personality... I try my hardest to do my best everyday, but I'm far from perfect... I'd like to think of myself as a genuinely nice guy, and I think most people would agree. Some call me old fashioned because of that, but it's a badge I wear with honor... At times, I've even been acused of being older than I really am. I guess most people don't think that 20-year-olds can be mature about anything... I was born and raised in a small East Texas town, so I know what it means to be a friend and a neighbor. I do what I can, when I can, to help my friends and family out. And, since I'm kind of a "country boy" , I've definitely got a "rough and tumble" side. I've got an old truck with big tires and loud pipes, I enjoy being outside, and I'm not afraid of getting dirty. But at the same time, I can clean up pretty nicely... I have class, I have style, I have taste. I've also got a Chrysler convertible and I own a couple full suits; I enjoy an upscale night out on the town just as much as I do a good ol' fashioned pasture party... I'm currently attending college at Tyler Junior College where I play in the band and am studying Mechanical Engineering and Political Sciences. I will start my third year there this fall. I have dreams and ambitions of starting my own company - a speed-shop of sorts - as soon as I've got the resources. I'd like to be in the same class as people such as Carrol Shelby and Chip Foose someday. And, well, if that goes well for me, I'd love to take a shot at politics - there's alot that could be made much simpler, and I think I could be the one to make the changes happen... By now you might be thinking I'm a little cocky - it wouldn't be the first time I've been acused of that either - but, I don't think I am. It's just that I know who I am and what I am capable of. To be honest, I'm a pretty humble person... I brag about stuff that, in the long run, doesn't really matter, but when it comes down to it, alot of what I get praised for I look at as just doing what is the "right thing to do" and nothing really worthy of any recognition... Anyway, like I said, I'm very open, and I'm pretty honest, so if there is something you're curious about, well, just ask! I'll give you an honest answer!
Who I'd like to meet:
I have my preferences, but what it comes down to is pretty simple. I'm looking for someone who is kind, caring, and honest. I know I'm a good guy, and when I care for someone I never stop trying to show them that I do - I'd like to find someone who'd do the same... I'm honest about where I go and what I do. I'm not a big fan of secrets, unless they involve a surprise dinner for a special occasion or something like that... I'm a pretty romantic guy - some would say "hopelessly" so - and I enjoying making whoever I'm with feel like the most importnant person in the world. I just hate when people take advantage of that... My friends have said I'm always looking for that "All-American" girl, and I tend to agree with that. I want somebody who I can take out and not have to worry about anything too crazy happening, someone I wouldn't be embarassed to introduce to my parents and friends, someone who I could trust and count on, that kind of girl. Although, I must admit, having a little bit of a wild-side is perfectly fine with me - so long as I'm the only one who gets to see it! Some say I'm picky, I just think I know what I want. I don't expect to be waited on all the time, but I don't like being looked at as a doormat either. I find a good blend of give and take is best. I know that I'm living in some of the best years of my life now, and I'm looking for someone to share them with...
I could have SWORN that you just turned 21?! Oh well...well, don't expect me to buy you any alcohol for your 21st. I'm getting you something SOOO much better.........a super sweet baby Taylor guitar ;) haha Happy Early Day of Birth my friend! :)
