Anabrese lives in Scotland and has been writing and performing original songs since she was 6 years old. Her first solo performance was miming to Kate Bush’s ‘Wuthering Heights.’ In her 20s she formed ‘Yellow Earth’ an acoustic duo with here sister Linda. Yellow Earth performed all over Scotland including performances in the Aberdeen Alternative Folk Festival and Aviemore Folk festival. They had a dedicated following and plenty of publishing and recording company interest. They also had a number one in the Scottish Charts with ‘And I know’ where it stayed for 13 weeks. The girls played live sessions for BBC Radio Scotland.
As a solo acoustic artist Anabrese has supported songwriting legends Gallagher & Lyle and Mike Heron and the Incredible String Band. She has also performed live sessions for BBC Radio Scotlands’ ‘Celtic Connections’ and performed at the International Edinburgh Festival and Glasgow Folk Festival. Anabrese has also lent her voice to TV commercials and been a session recording vocalist for many Scottish bands and performing artists. She has also been involved in community projects as vocal/songwriting tutor helping establish up and coming performing songwriters.
Anabrese songwriting influences include artists such as Leonard Cohen, Sting, Suzanne Vega, Joni Mitchell, Shawn Colvin, Beth Neilson Chapman and Enya.

I haven't heard from you in awhile, and was wondering how you are doing. Have you taken any interesting trips lately? How is your music doing?
May I ask a small favor of you?
Recently I started writing for
an Internet site called Examiner.com about San Diego International
Airport, one of my newer interests, and I am trying to develop a loyal
readership, showing that people actually see my articles.
If you
have a little spare time and it's not too much trouble, please visit
this link.
Help me to establish a
following for my writing by subscribing to my stories (it's free), and
telling your friends about them. You can also leave comments for each
article. I also put up some cool links there about San Diego. Thanks in
advance for all your help, which is much appreciated. It would mean a
lot to me.
I hope that you are enjoying a great summer. Do keep in touch.
