Anachronista Not going near any retail stores today. Black Friday is for super-shoppers (which I can be if needed) but Christmas music is my kryptonite. Posted 11 hours ago from Twitter view more
Somehow I was the very first person on MySpace to create a group for the SCA. What on earth was I thinking? Now, at more than 5000 6000 members, it takes up large amounts of my time whenever I'm online at MySpace. And that sucketh, because I'd really like to listen to all these cool bands on here someday.
As the size of the SCA group grows, so do the amount of 'join requests' to process, questions to answer, and topics to read. And I take my 'moderator' title very seriously, and I will ban anyone who spams or gets 'hatey'.
As for my SCA persona, I'm known as THL Jinan al-Hadaya. I reside in the Barony of Caer Galen in the Outlands, a landlocked Kingdom even though some maps show differently.
I have seen 15 years of SCA in the Outlands, but with many expeditions to events in other Kingdoms. I've been to three Pennsic Wars and eleven Estrella Wars.
Some of my time is spent fencing, and being 'cavalier'. To that subject I'll add that I am the cadet of Don Talan Andolini, who was cadet to Don Dio de Lifar. That should explain the cavalier part. They, and my cadet brothers and other relatives, are my Famiglia Spada. And we are all soooo very sprezzatura, if you know what I mean.
I can usually be found in Darbuka, a middle eastern household that I belong to. Sometimes I dance, sometimes sing, and sometimes drum. Mostly I assist the camp with nightly preparations for the guests. There's always something going on in Darbuka.
How did I become a middle eastern fencer? Good question.
Below can be found an assortment of fyne modern internet gadgets and links that will take to some some of my other sites. Please peruse at will.

i make it a point never to irritate any woman if i can help it (especially redheads), but for some reason it seems as though i have only limited success with that policy. :
Thanks for the friendship! I've written a comic that is competing on Zuda this month, and I'm working hard at becoming Zuda (DC Comics') first female lead to win the competition. If you want a shot at one of two Pat's or Geno's gift certificates, while helping to raise money for the Police Survivor's Fund, then read and follow the strip below. Clicking on the strip will bring you right to the Zuda page. Thanks for your support!
Hope life is treating you well - at least how relationships goes - i wont imply economy usa being the U-land that it is, LOL but even though you are living in an underdeveloped land, about to crash under the wawes, and get a heat stroke caused by various deathcramping industries i just want to point out a few plusses.
In this world we are a few people that loves warm weather, fishing and sailing.
