MySpace a place for friends

Movies - We love to go to the movies as a family - or to stay home and watch them on our big screen TV. We're all about the entertainment and have an impressive DVD collection.

Traveling - We got to do a bit of traveling when my husband was in the military and we tried to take advantage of all of the places we were stationed - going out to the local area and sightseeing whenever possible. We still love to just take off in the car on a Sunday and drive to wherever. It was a lot more fun before kids, though. ;-)

12-Step Stuff - I'm in recovery for a few things... my addictions and others'. It's been a life-changing process for me and it's a HUGE part of my life.

Web Stuff - I manage a web department at work, but it's still loads of fun a lot of days. I love geeking out and learning new stuff and staying current with technology.

Music - I can't go for too many days without listening to music or I get cranky. It's just something I NEED. I'm so fortunate because Rob and Connor are both musicians who are super talented, so I'm surrounded by music in my house. I absolutely love it.

Family - If you couldn't already tell from everything I've written, I love, love, love my family. And I love hanging out with them and spending our free time together on the weekends. I love my extended family (most of the time. Heh), too and I'm glad that we're reasonably close geographically so that the boys have that sense of family around as they grow up. It's something I didn't have and I feel like I missed out.

Current favorites: Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller, Dry by Augusten Burroughs, Invisible Acts of Power by Caroline Myss. Anything by Stuart Woods, Dennis Lehane, Ed McBain, etc.
