The Sound. The Revolution
In the cold isolate plains of Dawson Creek, BC best friends with highly imaginative minds and dreams have formed together to create A Name Unheard, with a sounds that infuses musical stylings from reggae to progressive and alternative rock and metal into our craft. Most bands in this time we live in seem to be lacking creativity and are bounded to the genre they try so hard to strive for. We believe in a revolution of music consisting of no boundaries. With the latest releases of our self-titled album in 2008 and our new ep July 09, A Name Unheard has successfully captured the ears and imaginations of youth and young adults independently across their country.
In 2006, A Name Unheard independantly followed the Vans Warped tour across Canada, as well as booking and playing our own shows throughout the country, then again in 2008 with Warped through the United States. Back on track to 2009 we did a spring tour, put out a new demo in the summer and just moved to Vancouver in hopes to expand our possibilities and hold a future in music. With music as our force we believe we can send a positive message to the people of the world to start taking care of what we have and leave more then remnants for our future generations.
Times are changing and people need to become aware, A Name Unheard is the band to carry on the truth. With our passion for music and love of the world we know we can accomplish anything we put our minds to. We are more then just a legacy,we are A Name Unheard.
Much love,
A Name Unheard

Hey! Thanks for adding us! If you wouldn't mind, we'd love it if you could take a couple minutes and check out our tunes. If you're into Dave Matthews Band/Matchbox Twenty kinda music, you'll probably enjoy Facepaint. Leave us a comment and let us know what you think! Thanks a lot!
Hey guys, we featured you in one of our podcasts. We weren't sure what the status of the band was, but glad to hear you're doing well. If it's possible, you should send us some of the songs off the demo! Or tell me where to get it. I might be missing the link on the site.
