Hi Anam,

Thanks so much for the add, great to see you on MySpace. I've enjoyed the band's music very fondly since 'First Footing'. Great to hear some new material.

All the best,

Hi to the member's of Anam,

I love your music especially the Gaelic stuff; I've been interested in learning the language and music that I find on the net certainly helps but it's hard to find the translations sometimes.
My great-grandfather was from Ulster Ireland, Co. Farmanagh in the town of Enniskillen so I've been interested in my Scots/Irish family history and this evolved my interest in the music and language too.
I can recall my grandma saying some things that after doing some .. gaelic lessons sparked this memory in me that she must of known a bit of Gaelic herself, one thing I recall is the way she would ask me if I wanted a cup of tea :0, it sounded just like how it was spoken during one of these .. gaelic lessons.
It seems funny how some songs affect a person too that even song sung in a language spoken by our ancestors' can bring a tear to one's eye even though the language isn't known to the listener, and the song you have here called "Duisg Mo Chridhe" does that to me, I don't now why as I don't even know if it's a sad song or not, or maybe I'm shedding tears because the singer does it so beautifuly..I think that could be it :)
If you want to post the Gaelic/ English lyrics on my blog that would be great, I would love to know the meaning of such a beautiful song as this.

Thank You
Charmeyn
