Ananta studied violin at the classical music and Argentinean tango music departement of the Rotterdam Conservatory. She did masterclasses with Gustavo Beytelmann, Victor Villena, Gustavo Mozzi, Dino Saluzzi, Pablo Agri & Ramiro Gallo.
Nowadays she works as a violin player, arranger and composer for groups such as ‘la sieste du dromadaire’, the tango orchestra ‘Guardia Cadenera’, ‘Mógil’, the Buenos Aires based ’Tomassini-Reinaudo Project’ and several other projects. She played, toured and recorded with the tango string quartet ‘Pavadita’ with whom she accompanied artists such as Ibrahim Ferrer, Thé Lau and Kindred Spirit Ensemble.
She sometimes spends some time in Buenos Aires to play with the tangueros of tango’s playgarden.. and performed there a.o. at the International tango festival of Buenos Aires with OTRA & guest violinist Pablo Agri. Also from the tango scene, she performed together with Juan José Mosalini, Alfredo Marcucci, Luis Stazo, ...
Besides tango, she plays in different projects; with the Italian composer/pianist Giovanni Di Domenico, the Mexican singer Silvia Abalos and toured through Mexico with fusion guitarist/oud player and composer Fausto Palma. With the Flemmish theater company Stabada, she performed on the ‘International theater festival for children’ in Toyama/Japan.
As a composer she wrote music for several projects of the dance company 'Satya' and she wrote the soundtrack for the short film ‘A Fair Tale’ from Nele Verreyken.
