We were being and knowing That two were one, and we were three In twelve sided cosmos, drifting by I wasn’t seeing I was feeling And wasn’t being, doing, two were one And when I looked to it Nothing but the corner of my eye Then we were three, and being Being and doing I hadn’t known that two were one We were that same one, and being When I know, I feel I see that two were one We were three and being Drifted through twelve sides And we were being Knowing that two were one And falling there on clouds like stars We were three and known We were one, I don’t know I was being, doing, but I knew That two were one And clouds flow down Drifting, we know, and see Doing, and knowing we were three And knowing two were one That two were one.
Awesome band, Awesome voice (Daniella)! I am a huge An April March fan and so sad I never got to see you guys live, but ya left me with a bunch of great memories.
Hello Danella, Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how much I enjoy your music. I have been a fan since I stumbled across your music on a bedazzled compilation CD (woke up smiling). I have all of your albums including Lava/Gates within Us 7" and the limited editions of Adiago (#351) and ...something once true, is always true... (#55). I was excited to hear you cover "life is long, still" with Roger on ...something once true... as The Curtain Society is also one of my favorite bands.
You pierced the darkness and then You made us forget who we were You asked no questions, you didn’t care You already knew all the answers You were the first one out there And darkly you greet the sun They called you stubborn in the waiting But you knew you were the first one And you were the only one The sun was all your own know
Stretched out on the sand you showed no lines Your lotions went on smoothly disappearing Only grains of sand visible on your skin The sky found no impediment to you body You tore down all the barriers yourself You were the one between us and the rising sun But you were the one that blinded We could see no lines there
No more games are tolerated you say And we know that flinching now could be dangerous You know that you are the one that they believe in You are the one who is the last one A threat to us is deeply understood And we can’t last much longer If you become what you say we are Your way is set in stone, no one will ever know
Your descent to the valleys was fluid One step followed another, content in the knowing That no snow could ever touch you Those icy feathers all around you sublime in fear It was all so understandable to us They knew they could never match you
(Catherine: verse 3 and refrain) (From the Amara EP)
You help us master the sense of it And afterwards let go of notions Of what we feel is wrong or right With your eyes locked onto us You wonder why we are believing That there must be burning before we know That you were everything we could have been Safe from any mirror to hold us
We really felt like we were there with you At the time you gave yourself away so fully That we believed in what you wanted Please don’t let us be mistaken You are everlasting, in our world You are everlasting
