It is with unconditional love for the brothers whose spirits illuminate the pasts with which we ignite our futures that we have decided not to let the idea of an Ariatic Silence be laid to rest--not when there is so much left undone!
Only since the band's unfortunate parting of ways in the spring of 2007 has the effect of its music on listeners and musicians alike been truly realized; and it is with that in mind that we, two of its founding members, having regrouped and written with various musicians over the past year, have decided to forge ahead in pursuit of another realization...the realization of the immortal philosophy on which the band was originally formed--that of music as the purest and most emotive form of communication and inspiration in the known universe. Once conceived, an idea can never die. Our only choice, therefore, is either to let that idea lie dormant, or to nurture its essence into fruition, and to let others share and contribute along the way. To allow the former to stand would be a shameful creative injustice, and so the latter it must be!
Today, and every day hereafter, we embark on the next phase of an Ariatic Silence. Some of our brothers in foundation are near, others far, but the idea by which we launched this project remains our uniting principle. We will never be able to, nor should we want to, relive the times we've shared in the past; but with the blessings of our former comrades, it is in honor of those times that we will create the music that will become the manifestation of that which brought us together in the first place:
