About me: OK, if you read my old intro, here's a more direct method to the rebellion. BOYCOTT CHINA! Really. No more Nikes, cut out crap. If you can forego even one Chinese-made product, you'll be better off.
Why, you ask? A few reasons:
1. The loss of the U.S. manufacturing sector. Can you find anything at all that says "Made in the U.S.A." anymore? If you can, make that item your preferred brand.
2. Tibet and Darfur. How are they linked? The Chinese government is committing genocide in Tibet, and enabling the government of Sudan to do the same with trade deals.
Of course, who is to blame? Our own companies are to blame, and our own government gave China most favored nation trading status in the '90s (Clinton's biggest mistake). Meanwhile, people who used to have well-paying manufacturing jobs now work for minimum-wage with no benfits in retail.
