Guitarist, Anastasi Mavrides is a musician of wide-ranging styles, realms and media. He has toured with the Beach Boys, and currently performs with the African-world band, Makuru, as well as the Indian-Sufi devotional funk band, JI (featuring Sukhawat Ali Khan).
A multi-talented composer and producer, Anastasi has scored music for numerous commercials and documentary films and is the creator of an award-winning CD collection for children, entitled The Classical Child®. Anastasi is a recording artist for Sausalito-based World-Music label Real Music. He is presently enjoying musical directing for the new one-act comedy, ZEN Boyfriends.
