Nasty 'Stache was formed in Fort Worth, Texas in 2007 and fun, friends and Rock n' Roll is what Nasty 'Stache is all about. Cousins David Hair (guitar/vocals, age:25) and Rowdy Brewer (guitar/vocals, age:24) take the mic and rock the guitar, with brothers Brian (Drums, age:23) and Sean McNamee (Bass, age:21) gettin nasty on the rhythm section.Nasty 'Stache loves music, they love life and they love to party. Thats why you can hear so many styles and influences in their music. Everything from Punk (Iggy and the Stooges) to modern rock (Nirvana, QOTSA, Toadies) and
more out there stuff (Butthole Surfers, Sonic Youth). I think most
of all you can hear the influence of their surroundings and
experiences.
The band originally came together as an output for David and Rowdy's unique sounds. It was also a sideproject. David and Brian were in the popular local band Dischord. And it was an expirement. A different day...a different sound.Nasty 'Stache has played around Fort Worth and Dallas and are always actively searching for a larger audience. They have enjoyed playing for many charity events. Their first show was the TCC Battle of the Bands, a benefit for homeless teenagers, where they left the crowd stunned. They've also played at the Hangman's House of Horrors (www.hangmans.com), the nations top charity-benefiting haunted house, for two years in a row, as well as Ridglea Theater, and the Aardvark which we'll be playing at again on 3/13/09.Nasty 'Stache has been at it for 2 years and are now recording material for their first cd. In the mean time they are passing out demos, selling t-shirt, beanies, stickers, whatever. Nasty' Stache isn't just a name. They are unforgettable. And they don't really plan on sticking around locally very long. They want to come to you, they want to come on everyone. And they will.
They're out there, they're looking for you. Hell...you might even grow one.
