Schiene und das gut konsequent.
In den Songs treffen harte Gitarrenriffs auf Synthesizersounds,
ungewöhnliche Klänge auf tanzbare Beats. Die Texte spiegeln das
wahre Leben - aus der subtiler Distanz betrachtet - wider.
Mainstream oder Independent??? .........nennen wir es Rock - auf Höhe der
Zeit! Und die Philosophie dahinter: Musik soll die Menschen erreichen, soll sie berühren und zum Nachdenken anregen.. und muss Spass machen!

Serving a cocktail of demanding rock music and easy listening, hazy thoughts, partly even melancholic lyrics and still fun of listening. This is extraordinary and definitly not impossible. Since it's foundation in august 2005, Anchorite goes straight for the one challange, to unite all possible characters of music and still presenting it's own distinctive style.
It's just the simple life, pure and barely, that's hidden in the lyrics - from a subtile distance.
You'll find rough guitar riffs beneath silent melodic synth sounds, well known rock n roll styles paired with very unexpected effects. And when a slight whisper is followed by the beautiful sound of breathtaking kick-ass noise, you're already in.
So, what's the philosophy behind the band: Music shall reach people deep inside, shall inspire, make them think about life itself ... and it must be fun!!
