This is Anchor Recordings – a Recording Studio based in Indianapolis (Broad Ripple). Thanks for visiting our page.

We offer professional quality recordings and audio services at the lowest price. We’re so cheap, it’s hard for us to stay in business, but we love doing this so much that we just can’t give up.

We have been serving local, independent musicians from Indianapolis and surrounding cities since 2004, which equates to a lot of experience and knowledge that musicians can count on – the kind that can make a real difference in the recording process (something which many of the new local studios lack).

We have and will work with anyone with an audio recording need, but we specialize in helping bands and musicians who are looking to create a unique sound get exactly just that. We utilize a wide range of creative engineering techniques from the past and current to develop sonic characteristics different from the “cookie cutter” sounds you are hearing dominate the recordings coming from most local studios. We don’t believe in presets and we actually know how to record real drums and guitars that sound awesome (but we can do the fake stuff just as well too if you really want them). If you want a sounds that is all your own, we will make that happen. (But if you want a recording that sounds like someone else’s, we can make that happen too, and still do it cheaply!)
