This is Anchor Recordings - a Recording Studio based in Indianapolis that was started way back in 2004. Thanks for visiting our site!

Amongst professional studios, we offer the highest quality recordings and audio services of all types at the lowest price possible without cutting corners. We're passionate about this business and we're serious about combining the best of service and quality with unbeatable prices. Recently we expanded and upgraded our facility in a major way, completely changing the kind of studio Anchor Recordings is. You will have to see it to believe it, but looking through the pictures on this site should be a good indicator that we have moved beyond a focused project studio into a full-sized professional studio. We now offer a very large Studio A and a fully functional Studio B plus even more amenities you'd only expect from the far more expensive studios.

Some of our new improvements include:

* More engineers with different backgrounds, each specializing in certain genres
* An upgraded and enlarged selection of equipment
* Highly functional, great sounding rooms and isolation booths

Our new location is on the Northeast side of Indianapolis, just off of I-465 conveniently located near a host of restaurants and shopping centers. And for out-of-town bands, we are fortunate to be just a block away from an extremely affordable weekly-stay hotel and all the amenities you would need for an extended visit.

Of course we have, and will work with clients who have any type of audio recording need including voiceover work, mastering, mixing, finalizing, audio clean-up, deep editing and sequencing, post production, commercial music and more. But as in the past, we specialize in (and love) helping bands and musicians who are looking to create a unique sound get exactly that. We're well versed in the large variety of techniques used to create the sounds that people are looking to achieve with their recordings no matter what genre you are in or sound you are looking to evoke. Our goal here is to help musicians develop a sonically unique recording that matches their musical personalities, avoiding the boring "cookie cutter" sounds you may often hear from other local studios (who use the same setups and presets for every artist that comes in).
