I’ve decided to put both Ancronix and Unusual incident productions on hold! I would like to thank all the people who supported my music over the past years.

Ancronix is a musician based in the east of the Netherlands. As a witness of the electronic dance music evolution since 1988 and with a huge passion for 60s and 70s funk and soul, he produces an own unique blend of raw electronic dance music. No matter how rough and tough his tracks are, he manages to keeps it rolling and with a certain amount of funkiness. Due the distinctive taste of the Ancronix productions it is difficult to pinpoint his style within the existing genres. Key ingredients in Ancronix his productions are rolling grooves, solid riffs, well-considered edits, and once in a while a touch of Hip-hop. These main ingredients can be found in almost each of his releases, whether it are Breaks, Techno or Drum and bass.

In 1999 Ancronix signed a contract with Cardiac Music for their Drum and bass label Ruff-Teck Recordings (Ruffneck at the time). From that moment he is one of the key producers of the Ruff-Teck label and her sub label Metrik. On these labels Ancronix released together with Edge Harmonics, solo or as Unusual Incident. The last one is a collective that contains solo work and co-productions with other musicians. Most of the time the Unusual Incident sound is more accessible. Once in a while Ancronix makes a side step to other labels from friends or colleagues, like Nubians Acetate Recordings, Complex Beatz and Sudden Def.

From 2005 Ancronix his grooves can also be found on the rapidly evolved Hard Techno label, Protocast.
