Andalucia nasceu em Curitiba no ano de 2007. Um trio que rapidamente se tornou um quarteto. logo em seguida, uma troca de baixista e a banda consolidou sua formação e se concentrou na proposta de fazer música sem nenhum compromisso com rótulos. Deixando o som falar por si próprio.

Aplicando suas diversas influências à uma estética rock n' roll, Andalucia trabalha na desconstrução da forma de se fazer música. Não levando padrões tão a sério, e usando a liberdade de misturar múltiplas sonoridades resultando em novos e inesperados sons. Tanta é a diversidade, que é necessário assistir uma apresentação ao vivo para enxergar todas as facetas do som andaluz. É a proposta do rock cosmopolita.

Atualmente a banda é integrada por Argos Carneiro (guitarra e voz), Kelson Diego (guitarra e voz), Paulo Faria (bateria) e Raphael Angelo (baixo e backing). A banda iniciou o contato com os palcos no final de 2008. Apesar de pouca experiência a banda já esteve nos melhores palcos do rock alternativo curitibano. Lugares como Vox Bar, Slainte Irish Pub, James Bar, e Wonka Bar fazem parte dessa lista.

Em Abril de 2009 os integrantes da banda passam a morar juntos na casa laranja intensificando o ritmo de trabalho e conciliando o processo de composição com apresentações. A banda fecha o primeiro semestre do ano com a gravação de seu primeiro EP já agendada pro verão. Andalucia sempre busca artistas parceiros na intenção de organizar shows, festivais, gravações. Atos que impulsionem a produção cultural de sua cidade, trabalhando na visibilidade desses novos sons por todo o país. Novos na cena e conscientes de seus objetivos, Andalucia trabalha para levar ao mundo seu paperock.


Andalucia was born in Curitiba in the year of 2007. A trio that soon became a quartet. After a bassist change the band consolidated it's formation and focused on the proposal of making music without any comitment to labels. Letting the sound speak for itself.

Applying its diverse influences to a rock n' roll aesthetics, Andalucia works on the deconstruction of the way music is made. Not taking standards too seriuosly, and using the liberty of mixing multiple sonorities resulting new and unexpected sounds. The diversity is such, that only watching a live performance you can see all facets of the andalusian sound. it's the cosmopolitan rock proposal.

Currently the band is integrated by Argos Carneiro (guitar and vocals), Kelson Diego (guitar and vocals), Paulo Faria (drums and electronics) and Raphael Angelo (bass and vocals). The band first got in touch with the stages in 2008 autumn. Despite the few experience the band performed in the best stages of Curitiba. Places like Vox Bar, Slainte Irish Pub, Wonka Bar and James Bar are part of this list.

In april 2009 the band moved in together to the orange house intensifying the work rythm and reconciling the composition process with live perfomances. The band closes the first semester of the year with the recording of the EP scheduled to the winter. Andalucia always looks for partner artists with the intent to produce shows, festivals, recordings. Actions that boost the cultural production of it's city, working on the visibility of these new sound throghout the coutry. New in the scene and aware of its objectives, Andalucia works to deliver the world its paperock.


Andalucia surgió en Curitiba el ano 2007. Un trío que rápidamente se ha tornado un cuarteto. Luego un cambio de bajistas ya la banda se consolido con su formación y se concentro en la propuesta de crear canciones sin ningún compromiso de rótulos.

Aplicando sus diversas influencias en una estética rock and roll, Andalucia trabaja en la des construcción de la forma de hacer música. No teniendo patrones tan serios, y utilizando la libertad de mezclar múltiplas sonoridades resultando en nuevos y inesperados sonidos. Tal es la diversidad, que és necesario ver a un concierto en vivo para poder ver toda las facetas del sonido andaluz. Es una propuesta del rock cosmopolita.

Actualmente la banda es integrada por Argos Carneiro (guitarra y voz), Kelson Diego (guitarra y voz), Paulo Lopes (batería y programaciones) y Raphael Angelos (bajo y voz). La banda inicio un contacto con plateas al fin de 2008. A pesar de poca experiencia la banda ya estuvo en los mejores escenarios del rock curitibano, como: James Bar, Wonkar Bar, Vox Bar, Slàinte Irish Pub.

El abril de 2009 los integrantes de la banda se han traslado casa naranja intensificando el ritmo de trabajo y conciliando el proceso de composiciones y presentaciones. La banda cierra el primer semestre del año con la grabación de su primer EP ya marcada para el invierno. Andalucia siempre busca artistas compañeros con la intención de organizar conciertos, festivales, grabaciones. Actos que impulsen la producción cultural de su ciudad, trabajando a favor de esos nuevos sonidos por todo el país. Nuevos en la escena y conscientes en sus objetivos, Andalucia trabaja para llevar al mundo su paperock.
