Strangers from distant lands, friends of old. You are invited to step into the universe of An Danzza. A music project inspired in the magic and culture of long passed times. An Danzza was born in 2004 as a solitary project of Andres Campuzano in order to give expression to all his musical interests. The origin of the name comes from the name of its founder ‘An’ and the Spanish word for dance (danza), as music of old was composed mainly for dancing. The double ‘z’ is an ornament and also a wink to his two surnames (yes, in Spain we use two surnames, our mothers are very important for us). Joined together Andanzza also sounds like the word ‘quest’ in Spanish. He intend to merge medieval and Renaissance music with elements of Gaelic, Breton, Irish and Scottish folklore, and bring it to a contemporary public with a renewed style. Emotive romances, Epic and symphonic themes that seem taken from a film soundtrack, chants for heroes fallen long ago, hymns to nature performed by beautiful voices escorted by traditional instruments whose composition has been assisted by new computer technologies. With his music it is easy to let yourself go and travel through centuries, go back to an age where jesters took their poems from towns and villages to the king’s court, where fights had no quarter, a time where in spite of injustice and cruelty there was life and hope in peoples heart. If you want to drink and dance with him, rise your horn full of ale to a sky full of stars, feel the overwhelming heat of a battle we will bring you back those distant echoes of the minstrel songs. Let’s dream awake!!
An Danzza es el nombre de mi proyecto musical que nace en 2003 por la necesidad de plasmar todas mis inquietudes musicales. El origen del nombre se corresponde con las iniciales de mi nombre (Andrés Campuzano), Danzza porque gran parte de la música antigua folklórica está concebida para bailar y la doble “z” es un toque personal procedente de mis dos apellidos. Mi gran pasión ha sido siempre la música, sin ella nada en mi vida tendría sentido. Mis preferencias musicales son el metal progresivo, rock melódico, la música clásica y contemporánea, jazz, folk... y todo lo que me transporte a otros mundos, donde la imaginación no tiene límite. Mi sueño sería hacer música para bandas sonoras. Despúes de deambular en varios grupos de rock, desde hace un tiempo me he centrado en componer música libremente, con la única pretensión de divertirme. Mi estilo es medieval y renacentista, fusionado con otros elementos del folklore de los pueblos antiguos (celtas, vikingos etc...), pero con un aire renovado: romances cargados de emotividad, temas épicos o cánticos a la naturaleza, engalanados por instrumentos tradicionales y voces líricas. An Danzza también está abierto a la música ambiental, clásica, paisajes sonoros, poesía o cualquier elemento que ayude a hacerlo mágico. Ofrezco mi música AUTOPRODUCIDA, para que el/la que la desse pueda DESCARGAR TODOS LOS TEMAS GRATUITAMENTE. Agradezco mucho que dejés comentarios, cualquier crítica será bienvenida.

En el concierto anterior fueron muchos los que nos ayudaron a coser las alas rotas de nuestro angelito negro........el problema es que ahora se ha vuelto un poco travieso y necesitamos ayuda para domarlo.....Esperamos que entre esto y las infusiones de menta y chocolate o de dulce de leche que ponen en Picnic sea suficiente para que nos encontremos contigo este jueves 19 de noviembre a las 21:30h y juntos demos con una solución definitiva para corregir su cuestionable actitud:P Para facilitar el encuentro la entrada será libre.

¡Oscuros Saludos, Andrés! Gracias por la búsqueda y petición. Muy buenos temas tienes aquí. A mí me gusta muchísimo la música medieval, celta y casi todo tipo de folklore. De hecho en nuestro disco puedes encontrar un final acústico en una de las canciones en donde grabé unas melodías con la flauta dulce. Mucha suerte en todos tus proyectos, campeón. Que te lo mereces. Yo AN DANZZAasaurus. I just found out that we're related...and as a special family only present we've made a new song for you called "End of Days" (start doing backflips now). It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them. Please come to our page, give it a listen and let us know if it makes you feel like something catastrophic is gonna happen.
