Andrea Giotti (Ander) and Edoardo Mazzilli (Edo) have been on the electronic scene and event organization for more than ten years. Begun as a joke, their venture as djs has now reached the most important clubs in Italy and in Europe. The duo represents a fundamental part of Shape Associated, the cultural association born in 2001 to promote the electronic culture by organizing non-conventional events, which is actually facing year after year an increasing commitment and agreement, with a wider projection in the international scene. Ander is the president of the association and takes care of events organization and artists booking. Edo, freelance journalist, takes care of Shape’s press office and public relations, and writes about clubbing and nightlife for Zer051 and several music magazines and web sites. He also has been working for three years at Radio Città del Capo. Since they joined together as a dj duo, they’ve been part of several electronic music events: among the others, they contributed to organize CrossOverArt events, that took place at the Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery of Bologna, together with other artistic happenings like the European Photography Week in Reggio Emilia and today they are promoters and resident djs of Link Associated, which is a real icon among European clubs. One of the actual Anderedo main appointment is the regular night “Playhouse goes to Kindergarten” which takes place every Friday at Kindergarten in Bologna: since its opening in October 2006 this rising star of Italian clubbing scene has invited a refined musical scene including all the most relevant international names and has represented the biggest showcase for AnderEdo musical expression. Either than this, they are organizing a series of big international one-shot events called Altavoz, taking place regularly in Bologna, Florence and Venice. But the most successful project is without doubt the recently born roBOt Festival which takes place every September in different prestigious locations in Bologna and involves three days of workshops, conferences, live performances and dj set proposed by artists from all around the world.
As a dj duo, AnderEdo next step is to wholly join the international artistic panorama: their unique mix of hot deep house sounds together with powerful minimal techno beats already let them play in some of the most famous European clubs like Bar25 and Club103 in Berlin, Echoes and Prince in Rimini, Saponeria in Rome, Matis and Cassero in Bologna and in a lot of parties around Europe. At the moment their main focuse is towards Berlin, where they’ve already built several professional relationships with important producers, djs and music labels.

Cominciata per gioco, la loro avventura come dj li ha poi portati ad esibirsi in alcuni dei migliori club italiani ed esteri. Il duo rappresenta una parte fondamentale dell’Associazione Culturale Shape, nata nel 2001 per promuovere la cultura elettronica organizzando eventi non convenzionali con un crescendo di impegno, consenso e con una proiezione sempre più ricercata a livello nazionale e internazionale. Ander è il presidente dell’associazione e si occupa dell’organizzazione generale degli eventi mentre Edo, giornalista freelance e conduttore a Radio Città del Capo per tre anni, cura l’ufficio stampa e le pubbliche relazioni e scrive di clubbing e night life per Zer051 e svariati siti e giornali di musica. Tra le innumerevoli esperienze che gli AnderEdo hanno maturato dal loro incontro musicale (e non solo) spiccano la serie di eventi organizzata assieme a CrossOverArts presso la Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bologna e in altri ambiti legati all’arte, la collaborazione con la Settimana Europea della Fotografia a Reggio Emilia e la partecipazione agli eventi programmati al Link Associated, vera icona tra i club e spazi polifunzionali in Italia e in Europa. Ad oggi, tra gli appuntamenti principali del duo ci sono, tutti i venerdì, gli appuntamenti targati Playhouse Goes To Kindergarten, presso il Kindergarten a Bologna. Sin dalla sua apertura nell’ottobre del 2006, questo astro nascente della scena clubbing italiana ha ospitato una programmazione eccellente costituita dai nomi più rilevanti della scena elettronica mondiale ed ha rappresentato la vetrina più importante per l’espressione musicale degli AnderEdo. Oltre a questo, altro appuntamento fisso per gli AnderEdo è l’evento Altavoz, una one-night di respiro internazionale e di grande richiamo di pubblico che si svolge con cadenza regolare tra Venezia, Bologna e Firenze. Ma sicuramente l’appuntamento più importante degli AnderEdo e di tutta la Shape è il roBOt Festival, un evento di 3 giorni che si svolge ogni anno a fine settembre in prestigiose location della città di Bologna, fatto di workshop, conferenze, live set, dj set e performance di artisti da tutto il mondo.
Il prossimo spasso per gli Anderedo è ora quello di consacrarsi nel circuito elettronico internazionale anche come artisti: il loro sound unico e coinvolgente, formato da calda deep house e funky mixati ad una potente minimal techno, ha fatto sì che li portasse già alla ribalta in club come il Bar25 e il Club 103 a Berlino, l’Echoes e il Prince di Rimini, la Saponeria di Roma, il Matis e il Cassero di Bologna e molti altri party in giro per l’Europa. Attualmente la loro attenzione è rivolta verso Berlino, dove già hanno instaurato durante questi anni proficui contatti e amicizie con artisti, promoter e label manager.

DRM1 Syncussion is a true analog drum synthesizer that i own in my studio. After many years using it i decide to share with you this amazing analog sound. Similar to the 808 sound but with his own characteristic. It has eight drum sounds and nine knobs per sound with over 70 knobs total. Suitable for soft and hard styles from electro to techno, all in old school sound flavour!!!!
Most of the samples are in different decay lenght for better drum articulation.
