    Anders Hestbek was born September 9, 1978 on the Danish island Fanø. From 1997 to 2003, Anders played drums for the blues-rock band, The Rasmus Madsen Trio, which brought him and two other band members from Fanø to Aalborg in northern Denmark. They played lots of gigs, ranging from small cafés to major venues. Anders also played drums on the album Rocket Lounge with Rasmus Madsen. From 2003 , Anders was the drummer for the energetic garage-rock band, The Columbian Neckties, with whom he recorded the record Take Away, as well as various singles and compilations released in Europe, Japan and the USA. The band toured across Europe, including many appearances in Denmark. After years in the music business, it was time for Anders to test his skill as a singer and songwriter. The music is a soulful and energetic blend of country and rock, inspired by songwriters like Johnny Cash and John Hiatt.
