Anders draws his inspiration from a diverse and unique background which has taken him from Vancouver to Jerusalem. Born and raised in Vancouver, Anders harnesses the chilled out folk sounds of the Canadian West Coast and unites it with a traditional ethnic rhythm that only Jerusalem can inspire. His songwriting focuses on digging deep into the universal struggles between the spiritual and the physical and the eternal dream of finding true love in all aspects of life. Anders discovered his musical talent at the age of 11, writing his first song on the day he received his first guitar as a Chanukah present. He continued his musical journey playing with Simon Collin's, the son of legendary Phil Collins, writing music for MTV, and finally with the founding of Sunflower Records, which he later sold. Anders regularly performs in Jerusalem; his performances have generated a significant grass roots following in the Jerusalem music scene. Now Anders directs his energies to the composition of unique tracks in preparation for his break out album.
