Movies
Into the Wild. It is incredible. I think I'm in love with Emile, even if I am taller than he is. I also love classic movies. Just give me a movie with Audrey Hepburn, Clark Gable, Sidney Poitier, Cary Grant, or Steve McQueen and I am totally happy! Two of my favorite classics are Some Like it Hot and Paper Moon. What? You say you haven't seen them? Well, you are no longer my myspace buddy until you do!! I am also a huge fan of Kate Winslet, Johnny Depp and Rachel Weisz. (And for the girls that have seen the new 007 movie, you'll know why I have a new infatuation with Daniel Craig!!) Oh, and who can forget Marlon Brando?!

Um....well, I haven't had cable in over four years now. Honestly, I don't miss it. However, since we got Netflix, Shaun and I became addicted to Deadwood, that show rocks. We also LOVE the Office, Dwight Shrute is my hero!!!!
Maybe someday I'll get Dish or something, but for now, it helps me to make the most out of my time by doing more productive things.
Books
Everything by Sena Jeter Naslund! "Ahab's Wife" is one my favorites, it's incredible! I also recommend Into the Wild, The Lovely Bones and J.K. Rowling's wonderful series! Also (I'm going to sound like a big nerd) I like Oprah's Book Club. If I ever need a good book, I pick up one of those, I haven't found a bad one yet!! : ) I enjoy classics such as Gone With the Wind, The Good Earth and East Of Eden. Memoirs of a Geisha is a good pick too.... geez....I am such a bookworm! I love to read!

Life is busy and it just seems to get busier! Shaun and I bought a 1940s fixer-upper here in Mariposa two years ago. We enjoy doing little projects here and there and we're looking forward to having a new tile floor in our kitchen before Christmas. Most of all, though, we enjoy having our own space so Shaun can have his many toys, tools and car parts that take over the garage and our dog and cat, Moses and Leo, have two acres to run around on! We're looking forward to our wedding day which I assure you will happen before we're thirty. We take each day as it comes, and are thankful for every moment and for all the friends and loved ones along the way!

hey there! Just wanted to stop in and say hi and that I have been thinking of you guys!! I have a new cell number, I tried txting shaun's phone but it wasn't going through? it's 707-494-9088. Finally converted to the 707 :( lol. I figure I will be here for awhile so might as well!! I never get up there anymore, it really sux! I really miss the country! We just moved into a new house here so it's been crazy! Still getting used to the new place and unpacking, bleh! the first night here we got woken up to the fire alarms and it turns out a box caught on fire! thank god the alarms went off! then the next day our neighbors came over and told us they had gotten broken into! ahhh. lol. Gotta love the city! Well i miss u tons and hope all is well!

Seriously, I would hate getting up at 5, I think 6 is awful enough. You know what, I have to work next Monday and Tuesday, so maybe the next week? hey there! good to hear from u!! I know that times are tough for everyone right now!!! Ugh, I am so sick of money issues! And come to find out my rent is more than my parents monthly morgage! That just makes me paying rent more pissed off! lol. I so think u should come for a small vacay here :) We could go to all the free wine tasting wineries! hehe. I am still planning on going through the paramedic program in the fall! I am excited but scared!! I hope it all works out and I make a good paramedic! ahhh. So funny how you start off thinking life will be one way and it makes a complete 180 on ya! i am not doing anything I thought I would be! Hopefully this is a better direction? I can picture all the green grass and trees now, ahh, lucky! Well, this pregnancy has been alright. 14 weeks of morning sickness and then lots of kicking and moving and stretching, the little one I mean! I love feeling her move and I can't wait to see her! Kaleb is a big brother, I can't believe it!!! Yeah, we just bought a house and we have been spending the last week, almost, cleaning and putting in new floors and working on some little details before we move in. I am glad we will have a few months to adjust and get things ready for the baby who is due July 13, but hopefully she will come early like Kaleb, who was 3 weeks and 2 days early! Perhaps the next time I am up in Mariposa we could meet up, but I really don't know when that will be because these days travelling is a pain in the butt, and neck, and back and uterus, you name it!!!! But hey, you never know!
